MAGICTERRAIN FOUNDATION (MTF) is a Section 8 non-profit working with tribal and marginalised communities in Odisha and the Dooars of West Bengal. In the closed tea garden villages of Alipurduar, we help households get access to government welfare schemes and build new income through community-led beekeeping. Through MTF Jana-Gyan, our education vertical, we have run 10 forest and hill camps, 5 walkshops, 2 visual-storytelling workshops in mathematics and 3 'Earth on Hand' workshops, and created 10 ecology storybooks for children. Our learning uses participatory methods and visual storytelling. The digital literacy programme is the next step in this work.
